NES celebrates 18 years in Business

NES was formed on July 1, 1995.  The formation was a direct result of the local power company restructuring.  We started with a modest staff of 8 and just 1 branch and we have now grown to over 20 staff, 2 branches (Gore and Invercargill) and 2 companies (NES Ltd and NES Central Ltd - Luggate).

Over the years we have built up an impressive reputation around Southland, Otago and Central for providing quality workmanship mixed together with a wealth of knowledge about all things electrical.

In 2006 we successfully tendered for the contract maintaining the Invercargill City Councils water and drainage pump Infrastructure which expanded our current business to include mechanical fitting services.

We began working in Central Otago in 2000 and due to growing business in the area we opened a new Company NES Central in 2007.

In 2012 NES’s branch in Gore was opened and we rebranded with a new logo. We expect to fill up a niche in electrical work; dairy shed electrical installation and maintenance in the area. The Gore office is run and maintained by Simon Ellis.

NES has a Mobile Electrician; Simon Ellis (NES Gore Branch Industrial Manager) who covers the Gore and Central Southland areas. If you are in and around the Gore District and need some advice or electrical work done then please do not hesitate to contact Simon for your FREE QUOTE.
